During our long journey with Niki Newd we have had the opportunity to delve into different ingredients from all around the world with great piety. When it comes to quality, level of nutrients and ways of processing, in our opinion we have found the best ingredients Mother Earth has to offer.

100% traceability

Just like in our nutrition, we believe that all ingredients used in skin care products should be traceable and clearly stated in our native language, instead of Latin, with honest and transparent quality definitions.

Therefore we are proud to be able to state that we truly know the origin of the ingredients used in our products. All of our ingredients are 100 % traceable and over 50 % of them are from Finland. Using such a high percentage of Finnish ingredients is not a coincidence – the pristine nature of Finland provides us with ingredients with exceptional high levels of nutrients.

Beauty from the cold cold North

As an example, the sea buckthorn oil we use comes from a family farm from northern Finland. The rugged natural conditions of the North and the nightless nights give the berries an exceptionally high amount of antioxidants and other nutrients. That's what we want for our skin. Our sea buckthorn oil is cold pressed from fresh whole berries and naturally provides abundant amounts of beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor), E-vitamins, omegas (7,3,9), and so much more. The colour and characteristics of the oil speak of its nutrients; the colour is a deep orange, the taste is rich in berries, and formula is rich in texture.

Mediterranean  gourmet

Italy has always been one of our favorite destinations, so it was natural to us that this is where our olive oil comes from. The olive grove, from where one of our olive oils originates, is near Naples. Our producer produces exquisite olive oil – the oil is pressed during 24 hours from harvesting from a single variety of green olives. This method gives the oil the highest antioxidant content and lowest acidity level. Our olive oil, just like our sea buckthorn oil, is bursting with nutrients, which promote the wellbeing of our skin and help slow down signs premature aging.

Quality costs more

Naturally, using the best ingredients brings a very different cost structure to our products, instead of using cosmetic grade ingredients which are much cheaper. It is like with fine dining, we are ready to pay more for the ingredients used in a gourmet dish.
