Spruce sprout is considered to be antibacterial and has been used for ages as natural medicine and contains plenty of Vitamin C. Vitamin C has been discovered to inhibit the visible signs of aging skin, hyperpigmentation, and erythema caused by UV-radiation. It has also been noted to have anti-inflammatory properties.

The secret of the original mask recipe lies in yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), which contains substances that protect the skin, such as amino acids, peptides, proteins and polysaccharides.

The mask water is pure spring water from Finnish Lapland and should be freshly mixed with the powder before use.
